Inspirational short story

                                                    FATHER'S SHOES

“It’s not that easy to walk in those shoes.”
Someone said when I was trying to wear my father’s boots in my childhood. But why was it so difficult to walk in those shoes? Maybe, I thought, because those shoes were too loose for me. But was it the real reason? Or was there any symbolic meaning of that statement?
That time it was quite difficult for me to understand. But with growing years, I understood the true meaning of those words.
Those shoes need a person who is caring, loving, protective and at the same time strict. The person needs to do a lot of sacrifices. Forgive and correct his children for each and every mistake they do. Teach his children to work hard and behave good. Trust his children and stand by their side no matter what. Teach his children to lead an honest life. Providing financial resources to the family and protect them from any kind of problems. Being a daughter’s first love and a son’s superhero…..
Yes that’s not easy to walk in those shoes and only a dad can do that.
