1) draw the neat sketch of repulsion type MI instrument.

2) A moving coil instrument gives a full scale deflection of 10 mA when the potential difference across its terminals is 100 mV. Calculate

i) Shunt resistance for a full scale deflection corresponding to 100 Amp.

ii) Series resistance for full scale reading with 1000 Volt.

iii) power through each resistance.

3) explain extension and calculation of resistance of dc  voltmeter.
